Advice Session Superviser
We are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, committed, person to join the team and provide advice session supervision 2 days a week. You will need to be dynamic, with strong computer skills and the ability to support volunteers who are less computer literate, able to support advisers and schedule the busy day
You will be a trained Advice Session Supervisor or you will hold a Generalist Advice Certificate who is willing to complete Supervisor training. We will also consider applicants who have experience of working in the advice sector and in addition have experience of managing volunteers.
You will have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and enjoy working as part of a lively, busy team. Ideally will have experience in supervising volunteers but not essential. You will have the ability to manage and motivate volunteers, including assisting with their development. You will have the ability ensure best use of IT systems and packages is made by your team in the provision of advice services.
Location: Fareham Citizens Advice Main Office; Fareham Library Building
Salary: £11 per hour TBC
Hours per week: 16 hrs; 9:00am - 5:00pm Tuesday & Wednesday, with a half hour lunch break.
Type of Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2020.
