Health Issues

People visit us with a range of issues to do with their health and social care needs. This might be how to access health services - dentists, GPs or counselling services etc. They may also have had problems with a health or social care service and want help with how to complain. They may be considering accessing social care, either for themselves or a loved one, and want guidance about where to begin.

We can help you find the information you need, either directly, or by connecting you with specialist support

Healthwatch is all about local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of local health and care services. Not just people who use them, but anyone who might need to in future. The aim of Healthwatch Hampshire is to give local people and communities a stronger voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided in Hampshire .

How is Citizens Advice Fareham involved?

When clients visit us seeking advice on issues involving health or social care, our advisers will make them aware if their issue would be relevant to report to Healthwatch. If the individual is happy for their case to be reported our advisers will report the case.
